The Compression Info Scholarship

Compression Info is offering an annual scholarship to students who require financial aid. Attending University or College provides life-long benefits. Unfortunately for some, the financial demands can cause a large degree of strain. By providing some financial assistance, we hope to provide a helping hand.
This scholarship is merit based and requires an essay submission. Full details can be found below.

Terms of Participation
One (1) $500 scholarship is available every year.
In order to participate, students must submit a 1000-1500 words essay on the topic:
"The Benefits of Wearing Compression Socks"
In determining the winning submission, special attention will be given to the writer's ability to convince the reader in an informative yet creative style.
Not only will the winning submission be awarded $500, the essay will be published on this website.
The scholarship is for one year only. A new winner will be selected each year.
Eligibility Requirements
This scholarship is available only to students who are currently enrolled in high school, college or university. Proof of attendance must be included with the application.
Guidelines
Please send your 1000-1500 words essay as a Word document to nick@thrivingnichemedia.com. You must include the following with your submission:
- Your full name, telephone number and mailing address
- The name of the high school, college or university you are currently attending
- Proof that you are attending the above educational institution
- Your current area of study (or the area you plan to study if you are currently in high school)
Compression Info will not accept any paper applications. All submissions must be made via email.
Application Deadline
The deadline for entry is February 28th, 2017, 11:59 PST and a winner will be selected by March 31st, 2017.
The winner will be notified by email. If the winner does not respond within 5 business days of the contact attempt, a different winner will be selected.
$500 will be payed to the educational institution you designate in your application via PayPal. All funds must be applied to educational expenses during the school year. This includes but is not limited to tuition fees, books and other educational resources and housing fees.
The funds will be issued on April 17th, 2017.
